Just finished up another one of these! I like it -- this one is loud, crisp, and projecting with good clear tone. Just what it should be... and it has the nice, long 14" scale which definitely gives it more of a "modern" pro feel.

Amazingly, after shimming up the neck joint slightly, I was able to re-use the original bridge, so it has "the look," too. Usually these bridges are too tall for the "settling" these instruments get over time, and where an instrument started out with 5/8" being correct height, after 80+ years, a 1/2" is where it really needs to be.
