A six-string balalaika. I thought they were only 3.
Also, there is a picture of what is supposed to be a 1919 Gibson L-Jr guitar.
It has a snakehead top. I don't know if Gibson used that type of head before
the Loar-era, so made no mention of it in the subject. I would be glad to be
enlightened on the subject.
