Congratulations, Glenny. I used to have a mandolin almost exactly like yours - and like you, I played it every day.

Welcome to the party. If you can play on that thing every day, you will do very well.

Thanks for the kind reactiosn!
The Mandolin is a complete new instrument for me, i've played the drums for years, but i wanted to try a 'snare'instrument...and i think i found it!!!:mandosmiley:

Welcome. Just be aware that you can get addicted to these shrunken guitars. Have fun and keep learning.
So you are over the painful period, have good calouses and are obviously self disceplined... The real fun starts about now. Anyway, welcome to the group. I think you will learn a lot if you ask questions. And your opinions are more than welcome... That is how we learn.

Nice progression of instruments there. Hard to do too much better than what you have now.

That's like assuming one can get over MAS. This is just the beginning of the journey

You have come a long way with your instruments. If your playing has improved the same way you are quite a good picker. Post some soundbytes. And have fun on your way to further mandopower.

Thanks everybody for the nice comments!:)
I can recommend the Rover RM-75F for newbies, beginners because it's a very nice instrument to play on and not expensive for a starter.
But...after two years i was 'ready' for a level higher...and the Northfield NF-F5S is such a fine instrument for my next development and steps in the mando-musicworld!:)
