I think it is nice you have two distinct tonal options for playing (round hole and f hole). If you are new to mando you already know there is lots of help here if you need it.

thanks for your comments , the only problem is which do i practice on first , i love the tone of both but my missus prefers the oval hole so i tend to uncase both and swap about for different tunes or try a tune on one then try on the other
