Interesting...apparently "Wimbourne" was Samuel Barnes' birthplace, hence the name? Or is it from the Wimbourne folk festival? Barnes & Mullins are, of course, UK music distributors, and apparently import the Wimbourne model.

Specs here (http://www.banjosdirect.co.uk/barnes--mullins-wimbourne-mandolin-bm600-1128-p.asp) are for all-solid-wood, machine-carved, f-hole A-model, with an "antique stained" (read "dark") finish. These are specs for the BM600 model.

As you found, none of the sales sites have product reviews (too new?). B & M are apparently offering an expanded line of banjos and mandolins, with several models listed.

B&M are (like Stentor with their 'Ozark' line, and Hobgoblin with their 'Ashbury' line) importers/distributors. They are clearly sourced from somewhere in China and I would not be surprised to see that model turn up in other guises before long.....
