Hey Guys,

New to the forum ( been lurking for a whiles ) and the mandolin... been playing for around 12 months. have been a guitar player prior to that for 20 years.

Anyways, here`s something silly i did a few days back to break the ice... :mandosmiley:

This goes way beyond "fun" in my opinion. Very creative and well thought out all the way through. Well presented visually as well.

Excellent playing and performance, Trent! Welcome!
However, in the future, please don't feel you need to be so formal and serious with your posts and videos. ;)

Thanks for sharing that. And thanks for not doing the whole song. An idea for you - have you heard of sulfur hexafluoride (SF6)? It's a gas about six times denser than air (much as helium is about six times less dense than air), and thus lowers your voice correspondingly. You could work that into the act, maybe even start a second band called The Bluegrass Buffaloes (Hippos, Rhinos, elephants, whatever) the way Hot Rize and Red Knuckles And The Trailblazers did. Now, I know your buddy wasn't using helium, he just has a freakishly high voice (OK, falsetto), but still, that could be fun to fool around with. :whistling:
