Congratualtions. I played one of those this week and it was sweet! Just one question: Where's the tone cage? http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Sweet,where did you purchase? Lp

I got it from Steve Perry at Gianna Violins (Friendsville, TN). He had about 5 or 6 different Eastmans in the store the day I went out there.

Update on this mandolin...I jammed for a couple of hours with it last night and this mandolin definitely has it!! #I urge anybody looking for a great mandolin for less money to check out these Eastmans. #Don't let the Chinaphobes scare you off. I hate to quit playing it. #Of course, YMMV, IMHO, no financial interest and all that good stuff.

How much for the chair?

Dec-19-2004, 11:14am
Update on the chair...this chair is leather and huge. I used to have a normal-sized fabric covered chair but ran across this one when I was looking to upgrade. It's a mighty fine chair but I don't think I can sell it right now.

Yes,, these Eastmans are spreading all ower the world,, even here in Finland I have a 605 LA,, and am very happy with it. Bought from Casa Benelly (casabenelly.com) Netherlands, which seems to be the only shop selling Eastmans here in Europe (and surprisingly they seem to have almost all models in stock).

The only problem I see with the chair, is that you can`t play it. Well, I quess you can play ON it. http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/mandosmiley.gif #http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/mandosmiley.gif

That is one fine looking mandolin. Congratulations. I have been wondering how much I could sell on ebay to get the money for an Eastman. http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif It looks great.
