I used to have one of those "hole in the head" Calaces. Nice instrument. Worth restoring.

Nice little posse. I like the scratchplate on the Silvestri. Note the neck profile difference on the US made bowl compared to the Italians: a Louisville Slugger.

Thanks, Mick. I didn't have a clue that the rustic one was US made. I got it here in Australia a while back, in fact it was my first mando. and always thought it is Italian :)
