Anyone know the year of birth and death for Carlo Munier and William Place Jr. #If anyone has a copy of Bone's Guitar & Mandolin, perhaps the dates could be found. #Thanks for your help.

Munier: July 15, 1859 - February 10, 1911

I have the 1972 edtion of Bone so it lists both Place and Pettine as still alive. No birth date for Place for some reason, just says contemporary.

Off the top of my head, I think that Place was 1886-1959. Someone look it up and see how close I was!

I was close. William Place, Jr. lived from 1889 to November 9, 1959.

I had it written in my mandolin discography and must have gotten it 15 years ago from somewhere. Probably from an obituary, but I don't remember. Sorry.
