If it ever stops raining here, I'll get better pictures, but thought I'd post this, as a way of introduction. Just opened this beauty up this morning - purchased from The Mandolin Store. (Excellent setup on this mando and very nice folks to deal with - highly recommended!)

Lovely. I like the peghead and the dark face on it.

Enjoy the light blonde color. I have a different maker's mandolin, and in the course of a couple of years it's turned more golden blonde from the nice pale color it used to be. While I miss the pale color, the wood is even more beautiful with time/sun's effects on the blonde finish - a very good thing to my eye.

Very nice. I played an Eastman recently and thought, hmm, their better mandos do sound good...
Then the sales guy tells me it's only $400. Wow. You will love this.

Sweet looking mando. I bought an MD515 from TMS a year back & I concur with your comments......excellent service & attention from the team at TMS & very nicely set up.
