Here is a link to a page that has a chord voicings program. I don't know how accurate it is but maybe it will be useful. chord voicings (http://sniff.numachi.com/~rickheit/pm/chord/chord)
I saw it after following a link someone else here posted for other reasons. So to whomever Thanks. John

It looks good, but does leave out some of the very best voicings on many chords I've entered into it.

For bluegrass mandolin I think the 4 fret restriction will keep it from generating some of the chop chords.

I use a mac and have been wanting the chord wizard program. Originally they said late this year the rest of their products would be released and all of them would be converted to mac at one time. Still looking at 2006 before that happens though. Anyone know of anymore chord generating sites? MERRY CHRISTMAS! John http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

I have found this really useful for chords and scales. change the top 4 strings to eadg, ignore the bottom 2 and your good to go......I really wish they had a straight mando version though. # CLICKY HERE YA'LL (http://www.theguitarsuite.com/chordfinder.html)

and you can do what I do. Take a screen shot, crop it and you have gotten rid of those pesky B and E strings.

Great, but i think it's possible to change the download programme, just for show the 4 up strings. No http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/rock.gif?
