Another one just about to leave the shop.

Western red cedar top from Spruce over at Orcas Island. Red maple back sides and neck, with ebony fretboard and pick guard. Custom mayfly inlay on headstock. Finish is KTM-SV, second time using it. I think I'll really like this finish once I get over my fear of buffing wheels!

Just came in the mail this morning. I'm the lucky owner of this mandolin and it's every bit as gorgeous in person as in the photos. Will acclimatize until this evening and then bring her up to pitch. Thanks to Max and Lauri .
