I hope this is the place to post this, I do not wish to be spammed for inappropriate posting #http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

I would like to get the Tab for "Christmas In Killarney". Does anyone out there have such or can anyone Tab the melody line for me?

I have the guitar chords in D but I am not accomplished enough to figure it out for myself as I am somewhere below beginner status.

Thanks in advance and wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy and Prosperous New Year.

I found a MIDI at Casey's Cavern (http://www.wtv-zone.com/caseman/xmas/midi.html) (in Key of C) and imported the basic melody into TablEdit, transposing it to D to match your guitar chords ... this actually plays much better, and easier, in D on the mandolin, with all those open strings.

Note: To make the lilting rhythm easier to read in tab: in 4/4 time, each beat consists of 4 x 1/16 notes; most of the lilt results from a Down-pick dotted 1/8 (3 x 1/16) then a Up-pick 1/16 note.

(You can Copy/Paste/Print in Notepad/with courier font/plain text ... if the timing at the top of each measure is off in Notepad, delete one space, at the beginning of each top line, before the first chord name ... I had to add a space to make it show properly here ...)

Keepin tuned ...
Wendy
