needing help

hi guys i have a mandolin that was given to me a few years agoand is in storage,all i know about it is that my grand father bought it from a pawn shop in 1942.it was hand made in italy of rose wood and has mother of pearl inlaid around the mandolin,he paid 4 pounds for it,and i still have the reciept for it aswell.was wondering about the history of it and how much it could be worth and how much to insure it for .any help would be appreciated,many thanks ,

Matt: There were literally hundreds of Italian makers back then. Please post some good clear pictures and other info you may have like what is written on the label.
