A new instrument has been added to Elderly Instrument's new and used mandolin inventory:

http://elderly.com/images/tiny/vintage/90U/90U-6030.jpg (http://elderly.com/vintage/items/90U-6030.htm) VGC+, 2-point teardrop-shaped body, carved natural spruce top with oval soundhole, dark amber-stained flamed maple sides and carved back, dark-stained flamed maple neck, ebony fingerboard with small ivoroid dot inlays, 1-3/16" nut width, ~13-1/8" scale length, ebony bridge, engraved clamshell tailpiece, white-bound body (small section of top binding pulling away on either side of bass side point), original 4-on-a-plate tuners with white plastic buttons, Brazilian rosewood headstock overlay with gold decal logo, single-ply tortoise plastic pickguard, back center seam is glued and cleated, rare model, one of 30 mandolins custom made for classical mandolinist Carlo DeFilippis from 1949 to 1957, on consignment, with OHSC (green lining) (SN:20799) ($2,450.00)
