Global Mandolin ?

I bought this mandolin of of ebay and am looking for information about it. I think it is a Harmony type mando. All I could find about the Global Co. was that it operated out of Chicago.

Thanks :) I only paid $40 for it so I happy to have a thrasher around when my friends want to try one of my mandolins.
