I pulled out some of my old records the other day and spun the Grisman produced, Kalidescope labeled, "Tea for One" with Jethro Burns. One side all studio, the other all live. Has this ever been released on CD? The photo on the back is great....it's Jethro pretending to bash a cowering "Dawg" with his mandolin. Does anyone know of any charts of this record that someone may have unraveled? They should re-release this record...the Great One at work! Whew....way hot!

I'll sign the petition to get the CD made, and of course buy 1 or 2.

me too! while they're at it, they can reissue the "live" album on cd also.

Fave quote from Tea For One:

"I'd like to dedicate this next tune to my wife's varicose veins.", then launches into Deep Purple.

RIP, Jethro 'Van' Burns

my favorite quote from tea for one is: "i tried to get a sideman for this album, but would you work with a guy that drinks, smokes pot and raises all manner of hell? well, neither would he."
