Anyone do a mandolin version of this? I'm working it out as a chord-melody thing in G and am lookng for ideas and inspiration. I based my version on this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vbh7hfKP91I&feature=related

Try here. You MIGHT get asked to allow a pop-up.

It's for guitar, but I think it'll work for you.
Parts of it, anyway.

I arranged it in C major instead of the original F, and have managed to fit in almost all of the weird extensions and coloring. No youtube, but send an email to my website and i'll send you a rough mp3 if you like.

I actually worked one up this year for my 6 string tuned-in-fifths instrument. I never used my high B string, so it could work for mandolin (if you leave off the low notes). It's in F. Let me know if you'd like me to try to scan it (or figure out some other way to get it in the computer).
