Now..I take it that this puppy has an adjustable bridge (pictured in other thread) but, no truss rod?

Yeah.. If I'm not mistaken, "pat applied for" ones are all '21s, and are effectively the original bridge cut in half, the base kept, posts added, a small flat saddle (not like a flattened T like the later ones) on the top with adjusting wheels below and lock wheels above. They are very cool http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif
