I read again today an article on mandozine about John Monteleone who said that Kentucky, in the 80's, built some mandolas and mandocellos in the Dawg serie, along with the mandolins. Does anybody have any informations about that, especially about mandocellos ?

Phil, presuming you've already read from Charles Johnson's archived Frets article, I recommend you get in touch with Scott Zimmerman at Desert Rose Instruments(b@#$jos?). He's very close to Sumi and ought to be able to tell you everything there is to know. I don't believe a Dawg F 'dola was ever made, but I enjoyed seeing an A the other day, with the characteristic fingerboard extension.
