I posted this in the classical section, but was thinking this may be a better place to share music.

I play mostly Celtic music, but was sitting on the sofa last night with my mandolin, and started playing what turned out to be my first musical composition.

It's in the classical vein, and I think that's as close as it gets to bearing the classical moniker.

The link below will allow you download the .mp3 file, and an ABC text file. There's also a TablEdit file. It's the first file.

Your comments are most valued.

I like it, tranquil and pleasant. Keep at it, I'd love to hear some more.

Finaly took the time to have a little peek. (dialup)
I like it too. Id like to hear a Mando/Guitar version. Or better yet a whole herd of mando's playing it. Good luck http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

Thanks folks for the kind words.

There's a .tef (TablEdit) file on the site for download. It's the first file.

The tempo is a little slow, but with TablEdit you can speed it up to what sounds good to you.
