Lineup: Chris Thile (v/mandolin).
Chris Thile is from Oceanside, California and now lives in New York. After Nickel Creek disbanded in 2006, he formed a new band – the Punch Brothers. The gig should have been a duo one with the guitarist Michael Daves, but he stayed behind in the United States to look after a sick child. I saw the other two-thirds of Nickel Creek at the same venue last year.
