I didn't know you could list your items this way.....110739910890 and 120773435419 on ebay. They were reported and relisted the items under another seller name. Since when is everything $1800? And why would you blatantly put in your listing that you'll take it down when you get a buy it now....that you haven't paid for to list it that way? I'm confused...I thought there were rules against this? Did I miss something new over on Ebay?

They were removed. I guess it's not allowed....here's a violin he has listed the same way he listed the mando's http://www.ebay.com/itm/Antique-1780-Gosewyn-Spyker-Full-Size-Viola-w-Case-/290606973856?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item43a98683a0

You can see this was a real sale that has been copied in it's entirety, and a picture of text about buy it now added. It's not just not allowed, these are repeat frauds that show up over and over. Usually they steal someone's account so as to have an apparent history, then try to get you to send them money outside Ebay. When you see a format like these- it's an attempt to steal your money, no ifs, ands, or buts. They copy other people's photos, hoping for that one fish to bite. Somebody used to do this all the time with fake Gibson auctions- we called him Mr. 1300, because everything was $1300, no matter what it was. But I guess times must be hard, cause it looks like he had to raise his prices!

Sheesh. Just call me Alice in Wonderland - you would think I've never seen anything like it before. I guess it's tough for ebay to get a handle on it. It shouldn't be. But that's a whole other post......thanks for clearing that up. I have been on ebay for years - I guess I've just never seen that type of scammer.
