I'm just spitballin' here but if you really want a smaller mandolin, there may be better options than bashing the tailpiece on the ground! :mandosmiley:

It is not even worth it for the parts since, despite the seller saying so, even the bridge and tailpiece cover are not original, so all you really have is a Gibson A carcass which is really not worth the over $500 starting bid.

Replacement tuners as well, and apparently the distinction between "snakehead" and "paddle head" escapes the seller.
