I happened to have all my mandolins gathered in one place tonight so I figured I would take a picture.

Old Wave A5, Lawrence Smart 10 string fanned fret, '85 Flatiron F5, '24 Ajr, '06 Gilchrist M3, Darren Clark 4 string "jazz" mandolin.

And here is a pile with some other things as well, all tuned in fifths (ok, the bass is tuned in 4ths, that's like upside down fifths. It has F holes... it holds things up well, so come on, work with me here... ). '60's Kay bass, '55 Martin O18-T tenor guitar, '23 Gibson TB-JR tenor banjo.

Yes Chip, some great subjects and nice composition on the photos! That's quite the arsenal you have there. (That Gilchrist really grabs me).

Hi Chip -

Man, now that's what I call a family! Very, very nice. Bet that 60' Kay bass is a real cannon.

So how much Miracle Grow did it take to get that middle mandolin to get that big?
