Got my copy today. I've got all of the "School of Mandolin" books by Joe Carr and enjoy and use them often, but I'm a little disappointed with this one. It's advertised as a beginner/intermediate book, but I found the pieces to be over simplified and should possibly be listed as a beginner's beginner book.

On the other hand I ordered this for a friend who does struggle with pick direction, so in this sense it is a valuable resource.
