Well known by many, I just love my pancake. It's an '84 Flatiron 1N. Yeah, there's the compulsive Flatiron post (http://www.mandolincafe.com/forum/showthread.php?3496-Compulsive-purchase-Flatiron-1N) and miscellaneous photos throughout these fora (many beautiful scratch- and kit-built) pancakes, here's a place to immortalize your pancake. I've thought long and hard and to date, this is the mandolin I'd keep if I had to reduce to one.

Here are a few from today. I know I got others. . .

Lovely back, eh?

Here's the overall:

Now to walk the dog - yes the cat's been fed.

I really enjoy my Red Line Traveler. It is the one I took up to Philly last week to play at the gravesides of my sister and brother. I will be taking this with me later this month on a roadtrip to Kentucky (and just 45 minutes from Red Line).

fatt-dad - sooner or later we'll hook up to check out each other's pancake.

and those are lingonberries, eh? Straight from Ballard, no doubt. Ah, way back when, that was my haunt.

I like the pancakes. They have a distinct sound and characteristic.
I also enjoy building them. Great for Celtic and old time music.
