I can't see how any good sound would come out of something like this (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3703384974&category=10179)

But I could of this.one (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3703942926&category=2385)

I've never seen one of his guitars

Wow, he put a lot of work into that. How sad. http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

The line "Distinct tone, braced to support the unusual top and is holding strong" doesn't exactly breed a lot of confidence.

This fellow has built some nice looking instruments, I think one of our cafe members has purchased one in the last year, but I really don't know what he was thinking with this one. But....at least he DID try something different.

I've met Jamie and tried a few of his instruments. Really liked his KayKraft-shaped mandocello. He builds unusual-looking stuff but gets good results.
