Yours? What's the wood? Very pretty, Will makes a beautiful instrument, I don't think pictures do them justice.

Thanks everyone!

I took delivery Saturday. You are right pictures do not do it justice. It is a really sharp looking instrument. Sort of has a jazz arch top look to it with the abbreviated pick guard and the art deco Kimble headstock. The headstock inlay has a greenish blue stain glass like tint to it that almost looks like it is glowing in a dark room. Very cool. Nice triple bound headstock too.

Wood is red spruce top, sugar maple back and sides...the usual :) Waverly's, James tailpiece.

Sounds fantastic already. Can't wait to start really breaking it in at a gig or session!

I got #186 a little over a month ago. The tone just keeps getting better everyday. And it keeps getting harder and harder to put it down! Congrats, I know you will love it.

Excellent looking instrument. I have owned and do own Kimbles over the years. Will is a great guy and a great talent.
Congratulations on your new axe.

Yup, played bass for 25 years before mandolin and I promise there's no money up there, even been fired (several times, ok dozens of times) for getting caught up there.
