Am contemplating a Phoenix mando. Any particular reasons to pick the Bluegrass over the NeoBluegrass ... or vice versa?
I think the differences are cosmetic. The bluegrass has binding on the body and the neo doesn't. The bluegrass also has a fancy fretboard extension. I have a neobluegrass and i've been very happy with both the tone and playablity. I happen to like the cosmetics of the bluegrass but others like the more subtle look of the neo. I hope this helps.
