Hello one and all. Are you familiar with Sonya's Mandolin? It's the gold/blond/amber colored one she's been playing on the Gaither series. The more I see it the more I want it. Please tell me ALL about it.
Please and Thank You

I played it about 3 years ago....We opened for them here locally.

It is a Gibson,I "assumed" that it was a 80's model.Definetly not older than late 70's and not a
Bozeman Montana production.

Has the red/yellow burst that is different, and fern inlay.
She has played it for years. Her Dad was a "wheeler-dealer" with instruments and probably picked it up for her.

The highlight of that day was meeting Adam Steffey while he was playing with them and seeing his Apitius. What a good guy and Player.

You should see her new one. It is a fern with a vine of life fingerboard and a radius to the fingerboard. A pretty mandolin for a pretty girl.

Got to see her basically grow up here in Southwestern Ohio. She comes from a good family.
