I'm not familiar with much mandolin music, but I'm looking for something in particular and hope you can help out. I really LOVE the way Levon Helm (from The Band) plays mandolin. I'm seeking some recordings of slow and perhaps mournful mandolin - like you might hear sittin' on a porch rocking chair in the old South. Can you recommend anything? Even if it's a recording that also has uptempo numbers. Thank you.
