New " Dog" coming outta the shop

Thanks Eric, and No I havent stung it up yet. I posted last night and the neck is not profiled yet. There is a lot of work left till I get to that stage. I dont post progress pics much anymore for the obvious reasons, thanks again for the nice comments

I love the walnut GOM I got and would love to hear yours. What is the fretboard wood, pls?

Thanks Skip, and re7flag , the fingerboard is walnut also. Should get strung up in 3 weeks or so. I am not going to do a sunburst stain on it..just lacquer.

I have a walnut mandolin (redwood top) in gestation. Dave Cohen is the builder and I'm excited!
