Are the lambs wool pads ( the kinds with the hide backing, yellowish sort of wool on top) Ok for cleaning up a finish?

I'm using 3M Imperial Hand glaze(just got some) with thses.....

I have used this in the past for staining moldings and such but that was a few years back. ( I surf a desk for a living now) Want to make sure its not too corse for this kind of work on a gloss finish (Weber's to be exact)
any comments, suggestions from you builder folks that are "in the know" ??

Thankin' y'all in advance...
Cheers
Russ

Russ, what do the directions on the container say to use? Manufacturers usually state clearly if it makes a difference. I haven't used the wool pads so can't comment on whether they are appropriate or not.

thanks for the reply!
The bottle only says a "soft cloth" (work in circular motion) doesn't mention anything else, I Used the lambs wool before on glossed moldings, I was told that it wouldn't scratch, however before I try it on my Weber, I want some input on it. I was wondering if any of the builders out there were using these at all.

any more input out there?
thanks
