I'm new to the cafe and I've already read they're are 3 major builders. I own a Raffaele Calace & Figlio Mandolin with Calace's signature and dates 1920. I've been trying to find one that looks similar to mine, but it seems less flashy than the others. I'm not a mandolin player, but I'd like to hear what you guys think. I may post a picture later today, but please leave any comments on the instrument. Thanks!

Try doing a search on the word "Calace" or narrow it down to these two threads to start:

Bowlbacks of Note (http://www.mandolincafe.com/forum/showthread.php?2591-Bowlbacks-of-Note&highlight=calace)

Post a Picture of Your Bowlback (or any others) (http://www.mandolincafe.com/forum/showthread.php?1898-Post-a-Picture-of-Your-Bowlback-(or-any-others)&highlight=calace)
