Another one for the bowl-heads: considering the top had to come off and all the bracing was replaced I think it came out rather well!

Nice work... Man I wish I could send a crate over to you or Dave to work on. Then again, if I ever find the time and patience, I have my work cut out for me.

I agree with Ed and Jim, Tavy...great work. I have repaired and made playable a number of old bowlbacks, but I don't have your patience or skill with finishes. I like the subtle hand you deploy. So many of these low-to-mid range bowls were made and so many have gone south. Your work reminds me that they were once good, if however modest, quality instruments, not hang on the wall trinkets. Certainly in your hands they make lovely music. I think it is reason for celebration when one of these gets a lease on life for another 100 years.
