Went to Cotten's in Nashville and made the mistake of bringing my credit card...http://www.mandolincafe.com/forum/images/smilies/mandosmiley.gif

Picked up a 2006 Coombe A5. Really "spoke" to me when I played it. Having it shipped to me this week. Will post pictures when it arrives. Here's a description:

Coombe A-5 (2006, #102, NM) [Peter Coombe, Australia] Tasmanian Myrtlewood back and sides, Adirondack Spruce top; Maple neck; Rock Maple binding on the body; Ebony fretboard with Paua inlay; modified Brekke bridge; Maple pickguard bound in Ebony; Ebony peghead overlay with Coombe logo in Abalone; gold Schaller tuning machines with Gidgee knobs; gold James tailpiece; oil varnish that has been French polished. Great sounding mandolin in hardly played condition! Throaty and resonant in the bass, and sparkly in the trebles. Clean and clear tone. Nice!!
