The Steam Powered Hour will host their second annual Battle of the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Bands on February 19, 2011 at 8:00 p.m. at Theatre 80 St. Marks in Manhattan's East Village.

Sorry... i just lost there for a minute after reading the rules..
Mandolins are not required???mandolin duos are not allowed etc.??

Just a heads up to those whithin striking range of NYC -- The Steam Powered Hour is a great monthly show, normally based in Brooklyn. Host, NYer cartoonist Mathew Difee is a mad genius. Find them on FB, or elsewhere on the interweb. Plan your next vacation around one of these oddly endearing shows. Yes!
