Well I walked in from the shop and my wife had a cooking channel on and they were folding carmel with a spoon and thought "Hey, I have the perfect wood for that out in the shop". So here is my cooking creation....sorry I can't give out the receipe.

that's my favorite combo-- amber/caramel on quilt with tortoisoid binding. Follow up with a spiced rum and lamb chops... mmmm....

Keith, what a 'sweet' looking mandolin.
I must agree with Geoff, the amber on the soundboard goes beautifully with the quilted sides and the tortoisoid binding.
