Alpha, this is one of the last two point mandolins made. Late 50s by the look of the metal thing on the headstock. I collect the old Kay Kraft guitars and mandolins from the 30s, and host the KaY Kraft Guitars Facebook page too. I'm always interested to see one of these. Thanks for posting.There is one on Ebay right now about 500 bucks overpriced. Maybe $300 if it was in perfect shape? Any more would not be realistic, I wouldn't think Alpha.The thing with these instruments is that they are neither true acoustics, nor true electrics, and as such, do not sound good in either camp. Just my opinion though.
