That is some fine, funky mandolin playing...Impressive.
Bill, the script on the headstock sure looks like Monteleone's, but what about that odd headstock shape?

They were at Turkey Track Bluegrass a couple of seasons ago. I really enjoyed their shows, they nailed this one.

Definately a Dearstone D1A with a California redwood top. Real fat sounding for sure!

Austin - Thanks for posting that clip. NFR are one of my favourite bands,a modern sound with all the trad.instruments being played how they should be - it doesn't get any better than that for me,
