Looks great!
Just happens that I made a couple of coffin cases back in the early 70's as a way to get some woodworking experience. I covered mine with tolex, and there's still a guy around here that keeps has one of them. Never did get any pictures, though.

The instrument should rest in peace.

It'll bury the competition. Your fender will be dead popular. I hope you haven't made a grave mistake with the design. Shall I go on?

<OK, here's one more...>

Between your being a PhishPhan and your case design, I'll go out on a limb and guess that you are a Dead Head as well?

This is bizarre. I just got back from attending a two day funeral convention and my booth was next to a casket company that had minature models of their caskets. About the size of Phishphan's case. Plus, the National Funeral Directors Convention ended yesterday where it was held in Nashville at the Opryland Hotel. Several people that remembered that I played mandolin made a point of touring the Gibson plant, and said they were quite impressed with the setup. Even more bizarre though, is the fact that Ted Nugent was the keynote speaker. I was going to try and get him to sign my beater mando, but figured that was sacreligous.
