I can see classes at Berklee going unprofessed, students wandering the halls, wondering where their mandolin professor is...what can he possibly be up to?

Oh so YOU'RE the one responsible for these!

Brilliant. And very directed towards us. The mandolinists. Muahahahahahaha!

As my old mentor always used to say, " I ain't had so much fun since the hogs ate Gramma". John, you have way too much time on your hands, but you're making good use of it. :))

I just do these when I get tired of practicing my lick.

Actually, these are very quick and easy to do...most of the work was done for me already, since most of the lines are things I've actually heard through the years, or parodies thereof.

The best humor is always based on the truth ... but this dialogue isn't based on the truth ... it sounds like a real conversation!!! :))

Wonderful, John! Thanks for these. But was bluegrass an original music invented by Monroe or a traditional music invented by Monroe? I'm still trying to figure that one out. . . .

P.S. I'd love to see that combination of the Osborne Bros.

Hilarious!!! I'll use that jazz/crackhouse remark.

I can picture you putting these together and having to pause frequently to collect yourself. Thanks for the laughs, John!

i am very susceptable to accents. We have much fun adopting the "text-to-speach" accent in a converr-saa-shun. :))
So not knowing anything about xtranormal, do you direct the way the characters look away and look at the "camera." It's histerical. This could be wristwatch buffs, R/C helicopter buffs, or any minutia buffs. It's histerical for sure.

Hi farmerjones- there are a few controls, I guess you get more with a paid account, but anyone can do the basics that I did.

Someone did post a good banjo one yesterday:

This other banjo one also sums up a lot of "stuff" beautifully. One really important question, John. Are they dogs? Bear? Rodents of some form?

"...If I want to connect to my simple country upbringing, I need to spend several thousand dollars..." Sheer genius!

BTW, does anyone have a good mandolin tab for 'Special Needs Creek'?
