I have been doing a little research and I discovered a Fender electric acoustic mandolin that was in a bit of a controversy.
Apparently Fender had made this fm62-sce mandolin, and it bared strong resemblance to an electric mandolin made by Rigel called the Rigel G-110.
Fender eventually backed down from Rigel after they threatened Fender with a lawsuit, because the body types of the mando's were so similar. The Fender models made before the lawsuit are sometimes called "pre-lawsuit" models. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what the difference is in body types between the "pre" and "post" lawsuit Fender fm62-SCE models.
here is a link to an article I found on this http://jazzmando.com/new/archives/001096.shtml
Thanks so much for your help!
