I thought I would share a few photos of my latest Crystal Forest mandolin.

I really went all out on this one. It is fully bound (front, back, fretboard and peghead)
in cream+black+cream. Both the fretboard and peghead are ebony. I used all Old Standard tonewoods which include an Adirondack red spruce top and curly maple back, sides and neck. The nut width is 1 1/16" and it has a standard 13 7/8" scale length. I fitted it with a Cumberland Acoustics adjustable bridge. I used the slightly larger fretwire on this one and liked the way it finished out. The sound on this one is really nice. I wouldn't mind keeping this one myself :)

I recorded a quick sound clip.
My recording setup is just a QuickCam mic

Very pretty, Tony. I'm really impressed with the level of detail you've put into her. It has that nice, bright tone and short sustain that makes pan cakes so great for rapid fire celtic picking. You can be proud of your work, it "speaks" for itself!
