Anyone use one? I don't mind paying a couple bucks if they actually work.

I have one called Metronome from www.flying-saucer.eu

Haven't used it much, but it seems to work fine. Not many options.
Also, I'm using a tuner called Cleartune which is good.

Good question, leftyjim! I'm curious about the answer to this too. I've tried to find a decent app of any kind for my droid for mandolin. There's a limited selection, and I'm not certain about any of them if they're worth it. Sorry I can't be of help, but just wanted to thank you for asking this.

Thanks RK!

onestep- I found a decent tuner app 'gstrings'. I'll let you know if I discover anything else.

I have tried uloops a little. It seems to work fine for metronome purposes, and you can have it play loops of different Bass notes, drum beats, and some others on the free version. Can't beat the free version for a try out at least.

I'll 2nd Gstrings for a tuner. Is spot on right next to my Peterson.

Oh yeah, and Basichords has basic Mandolin chords for those who need it.
