That pickguard shape and the full tuning gear cover resembles those made under the Samuel Osborn/Sammo label.

Thanks for the leads. I was able to find several pics of Samuel Osborn/Sammo models with identical tail pieces, bridges and general construction. Most had the same shape pick guard although some had slightly different design. Have not been able to find one with the headstock back plate, but this at least gives me some idea. Next I'll be looking for some extra light strings. Thanks again!
