I've never played this particular instrument and certainly have no financial interest in it whatsoever but for anyone in the market for an extremely serious instrument at what I still think is a bargain price you should check this one out. ALS gets my vote (for whatever it's worth) as one of the top 6 luthiers in the world today!!
I have two Smart instruments http://out2lunch.lunarpages.com/mandolins.htm and can't wait to get on line for one of his mandolas ... and then perhaps a mando cello.
