Tonight at band practice I asked Lawrence Smart to bring over his newly strung A5. I wanted to hear it in the same room as a few other instruments. It turned into a 10 mandolin tasting, and I thought I would share a few pics with you folks:

Left to right are: Lawrence Smart 10 string fanned fret, Clark 4 string walnut jazz mando, Lawrence Smart F5, Gilchrist A3, Bussman A5, Fletcher Brock blonde A5, Lawrence Smart A5, Arches F5, '85 Flatiron F5, unknown bowlback, just because it was there.

Nice mix! Just an FYI, that 4 string is not from this particular Clark.
