The Looking Glass Festival

If you're anywhere around Lansing or East Lansing, MI, this weekend, stop by the small, but wonderful dance and music festival known as The Looking Glass Festival (http://my.voyager.net/~bonhanno/festintro.htm). Lansing has a LOT of great music going on, including lots of great old-time. There's no specific mando content, but I know there will be mando players around. Besides, Dan Gellert and Chirps Smith are two fantastic old-time fiddlers. Dan and his wife, Debbie Posey, will lead an old-time slow jam early on Saturday afternoon. I've gone off and on for years and really enjoy that community of folks. Our family is going up on Friday and will stay through Saturday evening. Hope to see some of you there!
